    Re: my latest 2 aquascape {untitled}

    I love it.

    Some comment, take out the floating plant when you take the photo. The nana petite does not look healthy, but maybe because the photo is too small difficult to see the detail

    What is those tall grass on the second picture? vallis nana. I would suggest to trim those runner that is close to front glass

    1st scape

    Actually the petite nana is doing quite well. The plants that are not so healthy are the mini nana and golden nana. This particular tank crash twice due to over population and water change two quickly.

    Over population nearly wipeout all my cardinal tetras and peruvian angels.

    The other time when my topup water too quickly during water change wipeout about 100 pieces of my 2nd batch of cardinal tetras.

    I am not too sure what is the tall grass, but definitely not vallis nana.

    Finally decided to leave the tank as it is, don't wish to be a fish murderer anymore.

    2nd scape

    I will be trimming them soon, as they are killing my e. tenullus red form as the tall plants dominate the tank very quickly.

    The first scape is about 3 months, while the 2nd scape 4 months.

    I like No.2. The rock texture (from far) , the position of the rock, the height, and alignment looks promising. For no. 2, I recommend remove the top floating plant. level the front substrate. Get the fishes to swim in one direction, or wild dance..This will help to minimise points deduction and the only way up is your ranking. Lastly, shoo the otocinlus away.

    I don't quite like No1 is because the plants on the driftwood looks like it drop from the sky. Unnatural.

    I guess a few months prior to submission, multiple pictures should be taken. Reason being, we ain't sure when is the right time, right 'posture' (plant) and peak period. This is especially important when taking pictures of the stemmed plant theme tank.

    In anyway, all the best.
