Mine also does that, initial it jump out got to use a plastic sheet to prevent that
jump out?? wow, is your water level a tad too high?
i used to fill up till the water level is touching the base of the outlet... have since reduced a tad so that they can't exhibit 'manic tendencies'! haha... perhaps am depriving them of some fun!
Tank a bit too small , can't reduce the water level so. I use a plastic sheet to cover.
