if you mean those gold "sucker loaches", they are not loaches, but belong to the cyprinids family (barbs, goldfish, rasboras etc)...... a gold form of the Chinese algae eater....... grows to about 4-5 inches max i think

Hi,
How long can these grow in the community tank? Couldn't find them in www.loaches.com.
Thanks.

Thanks.
I am looking for dwarf types...as 4/5 inches is quite big in a community tank of 3x1.5x1.5.

if you looking for fish to eat algae, otocinclus and yamatoes is better....
for real loaches (Cobitae and the Botia species), only the dwarf chain loach (B. sithimunki) is small, as in 2 inch max.
