    Hi everyone

Anyone here wired an external sensor to their Hailea H100 chiller ? I plan to do it myself but not sure how to do it?

Any one willing to teach or can advise which LFS does it and how much does it cost? Thank you.

    Hailea HC100a chiller questions

Hi Everyone, i just bought a hailea hc-100 frm NA today, went home set up, everything okie. But i face one problem, my LCD screen didnt displace the decimal place at all, its only displace 3 number. Is it normal?

Another Qn, when the chiller kick to work. The noice is quite loud, is it normal? Its louder than my home friger. Btw i never heard one in real life before. Then i just went ahead to buy it.

Base on the forum posts that i read, everyone saying its quite quiet...So i not sure whether is my unit normal?

    Can someone advise ?

Re: Hailea chiller user pls come in

Congrats on your chiller purchase. Few questions, did you purchase an export set? the display should show 25.5 for eg for hailea.

Noise is subjective. Normal high rpm fans are noiser. The lower db fans are quite costly. For more information kindly refer to sticky http://www.aquaticquotient.com/forum...ad.php?t=65446

A brief guide to the steps, when you open the housing, at the display panel there will be a bunch of wires. Look carefully if you can spot an individual stray wire. It should lead to the chiller water reservior(this is the black container like thing at the left) Trace this wire to find the connector which in this case hailea brand has. reconnect it to the sensor and calibrate the temp deviation error if any before use. Hope this helps

before buy external sensor, make sure you get the right one. There are few different type and different manufacturer may use different type.

One of the bro sugesting to reuse original sensor with extension wire. Problem is you need to dismatle the whole chiller chasis before can reach the sensor. Also you need to find something to replce the sensor possition so that water does not leak out
