    Hi Mods and fellow members,

Bought the ISTA version at NA.
yesterday i tried to pump Co2 at around 5-6 BPS (Testing only)
Within seconds, i heard sound of air leaking and output of bubbles was observed. But i don't think it is a leak but the diffuser has a limit to pressure it can take (E.G 6 BPS)

I'll only have time tomorrow to test for leak.

Now i have a questions for anyone using it.

1:Whats the max BPS you have tried with it.
2:If there is a limit to BPS pumped in, will it break
    (the ISTA box said unbreakable)

PS: Shadow i need you inputs for this as i know you have been using it. thanks alot.

    Re: In-line diffuser

bro, is it the ISTA maxmix or something? is it the water sound or air leak?
If it is a leak it should be quite obvious, did you align the o-ring at the bottom cover?

If it is water sound, what is your filter flow rate? I have such issues when i hook up with my 2026, very noisy when the top fins are spinning.

I did try firecracker rate before, still as sturdy as before but if dissolving rate is not as fast output bubbles is definitely..

Hi shadow, thanks for the input.
Seems that after i exceed 5 BPS very fine bubbles are observed.
That should be the cause of the sound, to be safe tonight i'll to a leak test.

PS: the output bubbles are even finer then my glass difusser

Then it is normal nothing to worry about. Mine was running through chiller so more time for the CO2 to dissolve.

    Re: In-line diffuser

I'm running the Boyu's as well. Even if you are using a normal diffuser there will be fizzing sound, if you stick you ears to the tank, its normal

The inline gives more sound perhaps it has a larger effective diffusing area.

Actually only cause the fizzing sound kept me on my toes.
Well just for a peace of mind.
