not really, if some area of the water surface is stagnant, mosquito will still lay eggs. but the larva will end up food for your gold fish
Hi,
Just wondering if there are any danger of mosquito larvae bleeding in a fish tank that has a few goldfish + filtered but without any top cover.
I remember reading that as long as there is water flow via the filter and that there are fishes, mosquito won't bleed. Right?
Thanks
Michael

if your fish tank contain fishes, the larvae will be eaten up.
Must see how big is your goldfish
Big fishes will not eat those tiny wrigglers

Gold fish will eat mosquitoes in my experience, even mega sized ones.
Hi everybody,
in that case, have there been any instances where the NEA came to spot check your fish tanks?
my wife is concerned about my 1ft tank containing that single goldfish... she thinks it's potential for bleeding... sigh
