Hi everyone, anyone using the above mention? I thinking of getting one from bioplast, but price wise is roughly half the chiller cost. Is it worth it in long run? Coz at $100 plus, kick in time slighty longer, the electricty bill save a bit... U You will need a Long time to cover back the saving... Providing that the chiller don't died on u first...

What you guys say? My chiller is running on 1.5 ft, kick in time quite often due to it's small volume

it is good to try to reduce energy consumption.
however, only you can decide whether it is worthwhile to add the external thermometer. maybe you can try to calculate the time taken to 'recover' the cost of the modification.
