Suraez scored another incredible goal yesterday against Sunderland, he had proved to be an invaluable asset to Liverpool in pushing for a 5th or better finishing in the last leg to the Premier League matches. The same cannot be said of Carroll who honestly is not yet 100% fit and more matches along the way will improve his sharpness and fitness and hopefully his goal scored!

And congrats to Lucas who become a father last Saturday with the arrival of his son, Pedro.

Ya, looks like it's game over, unless RM goes to WhiteHartLane and gets 2 men sent off!! Can't believe how STUPID Crouch is to make such tackles to get sent off; totally uncalled for since there is no danger!! Sad, so sad.

The tackle was so high that I can see Crouch's underwear and at the same time I can count the studs of his boot!!!!!

The same thing happened to Rooney during the weekend match against West Ham. What was he thinking when he shouted vulgar language at the TV camera when he had won it for his team? He was rightfully punished with a lenient 2-match ban which he still have the cheek to appeal. Hope that the sentence will be heavier with a 3-match ban and a fine to add on. One simple word to describe Rooney and Crouch's rash action: Brainless. RIP and end of the road to Spurs' Champions League campaign.

    Re: Football (Soccer) Fans...Fall In!

Liverpool is coming to Asia again!

"Liverpool FC have today announced that the club will embark on a pre-season tour of Asia this summer ahead of the 2011/12 campaign. The tour will be sponsored by Standard Chartered and will include visits to China, Malaysia and Korea.
The Reds visited Thailand and Singapore in 2009 and the level of support present served to highlight the already significant stature the club has in Asia. This latest tour will help boost the team’s following in other regions of the world’s largest continent as they take on sides in Guangzhou, Kuala Lumpur, and Seoul."

I was at National Stadium when the Reds visited Singapore in 2009 and I am seriously considering going to KL this time again, any Reds supporter also interested to go?

    Re: Football (Soccer) Fans...Fall In!

    Liverpool 3-0 Man City

Finally, Andy Carroll showed why Liverpool paid 35 million to acquire his service in January by scoring a brace in totally demolished and destroyed Man City at Anfield this morning. Kuyt scored again in make his goal tally to 9 this season and
the scoreline of 3-0 really flattered Man City as it could and should have been much worse. If Suarez and Meireles have
their shooting boot on yesterday, the scoreline should read as 5-0 or 6-0 at its best.

Liverpool will next face Arsenal at the Emirates Stadium this Sunday and I am having mixed feeling about the outcome of this match. On one hand, I want the team to continue winning in a late-surge for an Europa seat, but on the other hand, Arsenal is the only team that can stop Man United from getting the 19th league title. I am really in a dilemma right now, and I have to leave it to the lads and Kenny to decide the fate of the match. Carroll is on-form right now and together with Suarez's trickery, I don't see why he can't score again this Sunday against a weak and toothless Arsenal defence but I don't wish the title to be in the United's hand. United will face Newcastle away on Monday and I don't think the Magpies can stop the Devils.
    Dilemma...Dilemma...

    Re: Football (Soccer) Fans...Fall In!

Aquanoob bro - great photos! Indeed it's a great win; and the morale at Man City is definitely not good! Look at the disgust Milner showed when substituted - he didn't have a good game, didn't get much of the ball and little off the ball running and is upset at being substituted by clearly a much better player in DavidSilva. (where's the humility and teamspirit?) Barotelli plays with no joy, and it's actually depressing to watch them.

This Sunday's dilemma? Well, it's simple - Reds win at Emirates Stadium; Man Utd beats Man City for semis BUT choke at the finals; Chelsea beats Man Utd in the 2nd leg of CL tonight only to be knocked out by Schalke04 at the semis; and with the run-up to the last games of the EPL, Man Utd stumbles and surrenders the title to Arsenal; Spurs and Liverpool both beats Man City in the run-in games to finish 4th and 5th respectively! Hahaha!!

As Macca (McManaman as commentator for ESPN likes to say): "Game on!!"

    Re: Football (Soccer) Fans...Fall In!

Neverwalkalone, that is the perfect scenario but the possibility of that happening is not high as of now. An even better scenario will be Liverpool draw with Arsenal at Emirates and Newcastle miraculously beat Man United at home. Arsenal then proceed to beat Spurs, then the point gap between Liverpool and Spurs will become 4 then it is really "Game On".

Somehow, I got a strange feeling that Torres will be on-form tonight and will score his first (maybe second) goal for Chelsea and the Blues will go through with better away goals. My record watching the Man United play have not been good so I will enjoy my sleep peacefully tonight and wake up tomorrow to see the very red face of you-know-who.

Manchester United and Barcelona storm into semis

Check out Ryan Giggs trap, control, pass and then return pass followed by precision cross to Chicharito. That's world class.

And Three Lungs Park J.S. trap and shoot. Worth every dollar paid to PSV

Probably the only team that can stop FC Barcelona in Europe. Or perhaps only Bara can stop the Red Devils.

    No Tevez No FA CUP.
