I wonder how it would cost to maintain that.
hmm... it looks like the fish has problems avoiding each other.... I would prefer mine to have much less fish... but then that's just me...
Wow 5000 cardinals!!The sight of a school of cardinals is always a sight to behold though i think it's a bit of an overkill here.
By the way how do you guys keep a large school of cardinals growing well? I usually keep 8pcs of cardinals in my 3ft tank but they'll start to grow thin one by one and die until left two with the two being the fattest. I usually buy them when they are small and all of them will have good growth until after a couple of mths later and when they are much bigger then one by one they'll start to grow thin and die despite my best efforts to feed more.I've repeated this a no of times and it's always the same results that's why i don't keep them anymore.
Is there bullying by one or two dominant one that's causing this problem?

ok the cardinals do look better now that theyre schooling, kinda looks like a freshwater coral reef![]()
i highly doubt you will see 5000 cardinals even in nature.. i personally find it a bit over-kill.. i rather have a small school that can swim around in the tank. this is just overpopulated..
many fish but yet for such a big tank.. they look like specs. I think its a bit funny to see 500 specs swimming around. i would much rather see 70 fishes swimming around.
