where to buy ada clear hose?

checked biotope dont have in stock, any other place to get. Need it today.. Those at hardware shop thinner type not sure if safe or secure to fit the lily pipe 17mm.

i just bought at hardware shop beside green chapter. Thick one only $1.20 per metre. Cheap and good!

o2bubble- hose from ehiem is expensive because they are meant for fish keeping purpose. The hose do not "break down" & changes the quality of water unlike the cheap hose. There was once discussion in AQ regarding this. I cannot believe it too. But expensive hose made for aquarium use has its purpose.

bro barmby, thanks for the info. Anyway, i am using all eheim hoses except short hoses connecting to the 2 lily output pipes which are exposed. So far looks great!

how is the hose grip to the lily pipe? The normal filter hose is very rubbery so it hold the lily pipe tightly.

i'm using the normal clear hose found in hardware shop with my lily pipe. so far no problem. in fact it grips too strongly. have to soak in hot water to remove for cleaning.

Bro shadow, no issue as bro reveru said, the grip is strong. I feel it might be even stronger than eheim hoses. Also, the hose is thicker than eheim hose.

Depending on the quality made. Rubber and plastic has a lifespan depending on the make of material the manufacturer added. Those that make for aquarium one last longer than those hardware shop one, choose thicker one if you decided to go for hardware shop type, thicker rubber has longer holding strength.
