    hope all fish are out!
do you still have the same plants in there, think more hiding places would be great for the shrimps... providing them niches to moult and stay protected... my 2 cents.
What do you feed them and do you add any special minerals, tonics etc?
wow, a tank full of shrimps... absolutely exciting!!!

haha actually no i never take the fishes out. the yield of shrimplets is still good. haha. i'm quite sure my cory doesn't bother the shrimps. minnows might.. but now my moss on thr rock is growing like a forest(uncountable shrimplets hiding there), might throw in another driftwood by this week. i use excel and bioplus.

p.s cannot bear to give my fishes away, been with me for more than 1.5 -2 years before i converted to shrimp..

I have a 2 Ft tank with fishes and shrimps as well.

Heavily planted and with 40 Cardinal, 10 Threadfin and over 200 shrimps.

With the steadily increasing shrimps population, I am considering upgrading to 3 - 4 Ft tank now (Hand itchy again).

Good hiding place are necessary if u want to keep fishes with shrimps.

This should be no issue in a 2ft tank, even if you're only using a sponge filter. If you want to ensure your shrimplets have the best chance at survival, now might be the time to temporarily remove fish from the tank, and possible add some mosses to give them cover.

Shrimps have a relatively low bioload. What kind of filtration are you running?
