I have been wondering if low grade CRS can breed high grade CRS if we handle the shrimps with proper care?

Or if the shrimps are born as low grade, it will only breed low grade?

Any experience to share on how to intensify the white colour for the CRS?

This has been the golden question answered time over time.
If your grading is on pattern, there is chance for low grade to breed out a higher grade and vice versa.
If your grading is on coloration, water conditions may give better/worse coloration to the shrimp
With that said, Gene is still the important factor.

Re: Nature vs. Nurture on CRS

    Thanks both for the advice!

As I am very new to CRS, I am starting on the low grade rather than risking on the the premium grade at a high cost.

I am just thinking if they can breed out better grade in terms of pattern and colour from lower grade CRS, I can isolate the lower grade CRS from time to time whenever they breed. Eventually I may get the good grades left in the tank in long run.
