Gan left with 1/4 tank of Red Pencils. He mentioned if next shipment not coming in, there might not be anymore until next year.

for those toying the idea of Red pencils, don't think - just buy. Its worth the shot. These pencils are relatively big in size compared to other normal pencils sold in lfs.

Was at Gan's today. Don't really know his total quantity of his shipment but it appears he has quite a few more red coral pencils.
    Cheers!!

I was at GAN few days back and the red pencil is in fact from Peru. According to him, the red fish is the male and those that are not so red are female. So far, I have not heard of anyone successfully breed them.

    thankyou for all your interests.
The red pencil takes dried bits, frozen BW and brine shrimps. Once conditioned properly they are actually quite hardy- but sensitive to nitrate, so take care of your water.

As for coming shipment, we are preparing ourselves for the arrival of other species- so it might be Nov/ December when you see this fish in our farm again (including the purple ones)
