    Finally have new tank.....

    1) 3 by 1.5 by 1 feet 8mm tank by Aquatic Style
    2) 40cm cube with cabinet by Aquatic Style

Got a cabinet from a bro, nice, looks new. So got a new tank 3 feet for it!!!

Pasted back and base black oyama..... not intending to put gravel. Now soaking my DWs, hoping to keep 8 pieces of Angel Fish.

The 40cm cube will be for planted.

Slowly update the progress, any bros want to share and advice please go ahead.

Very power tank. I like the cube tank. Mind sharing the cost of that tank with the cabinet?

That wood will be tough to scape. What scape do you have in mind?

PM send to darren and Noobz.

Thanks mincemeat, i always want to have a low tank, so not going for 1.5 feet tall.

Hi Shadow, not much of scape on 3 feet, just big nanas and DWs. The scape will be on the cube instead.

STOP! This tank is too small and short for 8 Angelfish.

Dwarf cichlid are a better choice. Infact ideal for Corydoras and small pleco.

Unless you intend to move them out when they grow bigger, all hell break loose and the fights and bullying start, weaker fish have no place to hide. Tank is too short for fin development as the fish will constantly fold fins to avoid touching bottom or surface.

    Re: New tank new year!!

Would the colours on the angels contrast the black oyama also? Personally, I would like to see some contrast of colours - fishes and plants, and now background. Since your tank is already extraordinary, might as well skip the jugular and go for something different?

    Re: New tank new year!!

hmmmmm...... let me digest more, maybe shift to RAM's tank for the 3 feet.

Though CNY free time, actually not really..... not easy for me to have 3 feet, those who know me knew i am restricted to family issue..... need bit time to do up.... if landed need soil....... may get sudo sand as base, or GEX.
