Oh yah.... when choosing the filter size, please mention your tank volume. The flow rate should be 3 cycle times of your total water capacity. i.e. if your tank is 200L you should get a filter which is at least 600L/hr. This is just a guide.
    Cheers!!

Same tank dimension here. Using Atman 3335. Can control waterflow for inlet and outlet.

i thought of selling off my Atman 3337 and get a Eheim 2213 or 2224.
cos e flow rate of Atman 3337 is 1000L/h compare to Eheim is 390L/h and 500L/h. so what r e advices.

Hey, if you decide to sell, I might be interested, provided I have not got one yet.

Any comments on Fluval 404, Flow-rate 1300L/hr, 22W. Eheim is 2 expensive for my blood. Maybe if I strike 4D this weekend.

stmoo, u sure the flow rate for atman 3337 is 1000l/hr?

looking at the graph of the atman canister. none of the filter hit 1000l/hr.

    hmm?

Getting a filter should be big enough to support the tank volume but also should not be too strong of a flow. Controlling with a valve will then be extra loading for the powerhead.

Fluval parts are hard to come by, so I would advise against getting one.
    Cheers!!
