Wish there is a super cooler fan in the market to bring temp to 24C. Why isn't technology improve on this for aquarium tank. We have already heard there is aircon jacket and am sure someone, someday will come out a super cooler fan.
The evaporation will be fast if running with that temperature. I would rather think of getting liquid compressed air like nitrogen to cool the tank through some piping system.
cooling an aquarium tank using fan is constrainted by physics. as cooling is achieved by evaporation, the amount of cooling is limited by relative humidity. if the surrounding humidity is high, there will be less evaporation. on top of that, the aquarium tank will absorb heat from the surroundings.
so you may want to try insulating your tank walls to reduce heat gain from the surroundings.

how do i go about the insulation?
Styrofoam panel?
If you've learnt, teach, if you have, give.

Mohamad Rohaizal is my name. If it's too hard, use BFG. I don't mind.
The lighting affects the temp. too..
most types of lighting emits ir which heats up the water.
you'll need to use led light if you do not want your lights to impact the water temperature.

Ya, someone should invent a chiller nano tank! Sure Sell!
is a $9.90 fan i saw at those shops good enough for a 1.5ft tank?
