Seems quite over-priced.
For 2ft, can consider a Classic Eheim 2213. Or check out the prices for Eheim 2233 (Ecco series, right) at PetMart or Nature Aquarium. See contact numbers at LFS List above.

Hi all!
I am getting a second 2 ft tank for riccia lawn and some other rooted plants. I am considering trying a canister filter for this tank, went to shop at Holland aquarium but the boss there asking me to buy a Eihem 2233 for $230 with media included.
Since i have budget restriction, could you guys give me feedback?

For my 2 ft planted tank, I am just using a $30+ Rena internal filter. No need for expensive external filters.

if u don't mind about brand then i'll recommend Atman 3335 or 3336 for a 2ft.
Check out @ yishun blk 618. they're selling 3335 for $48 if i'm not wrong.left 1 pcs as i went down today. Atman 3336 is out of stock but i bought it at $58 from them a few mths back.

Thanks for your input. Ya saw Atman yesterday at C328 selling around around 48 or 58 forgot which model liao. Should be the same one as you mentioned. By the way, are the tubings and parts sold seperately?
Is Atman product compatible with eihem parts? (in terms of long term)

but the price for 3335 i think it's 68
