    As there is no provisoin for direct sunlight in my appartment, Can I wash the media and 'Micro wave' it in order to make it 100% dry?
    I am having Eheim Efi substrate and Mr Aqua ceramic rings

    It is advisable to retain some of the beneficial bacteria. Do not throughly clean the rings and oven dry it. You will kills all the "good" bacteria.
    If possible, retain some of the old aquarium water.

    cleaning bio media is done by rinsing it with aquarium water.
    then place it back to the canister filter. and you are good to go.

    why do you want/need to dry it?

    you can just air it until it is dry. place it somewhere warm.
