Hi Alan, U got a nice tank. I noticed that u named java moss in your 10 gallon tank, however I saw only riccia fluitans in the foreground.

Sorry if that photo looks too dark, if u see carefully, there is Java Moss tied to a small branch of wood just behind the riccia and infront of the DDs.

Have been trying hard to take pictures of my tank but don't turn out well.
I use the canon G1. Please share with me your techniques. I really like your pictures a lot. Maybe tell me alittle about your lighting.

For my lighting, I am using 4 tube of 25watts Arcadia Freshwater Tubes (color temperature of 7,500K) with good reflectors.

If you are facing overexposure problem, you may want to reduce your lighting. I had the problem, so I off 1 tube. I had taken the photo by underexposed them (-0.3 to -0.7). Setting to aperture F1.8-F2.3 and slow shutter speed of 1/10, I used a tripot and remote to handle the takes.
