hi all... new to planted tank. need some advice here.

have a 2ft tank. using 2bots of DIY co2 attach to a stone for co2. dunno what its made of but its white in colour. it creates steady stream v tiny bubbles that floats to the surface.

but now water surface got alot of such bubbles that wont disperse. my hang on filter is pushing them ard the surface and in the water, but still wont disperse. i dont have this prob when im using those normal air stone but bubbles not as tiny.

can someone suggest what i can do besides switching back to the air stone?
and any idea what causes these bubbles not to disperse?

You could be having this problem because of:

    1. Surface protein film preventing air bubbles to escape
    2. High NH level

Check your water parameter and perhaps get a surface skimmer.
