Hi bros, may i seek your advice the lighting required for a 21" x 14" x 14" tank (approx 17 US Gallons)?
    Fauna : Sakura Shrimps
Flora : Spiky Moss + Christmas Moss + Java Fern + Nana

May i know the wattage I should be looking at? Would 15W be enough?
Also, is there a difference between the different type of lights (FL/PL/T5), say; a T5 15w is stronger than a FL 15w. Your expertise is much appreciated!

15 watts is toolow even for low tech. 0.9wpg for small tank is very little. I think you can go for a 24 - 36w light set? preferably aroung 30watts

The above is for low tech. unless you plan to inject co2 and dose ferts heavily the above should be fine
    Cheers,
    JJ
