Hi there,
Regarding why your CRS died, you've got to give more details before we can diagnose your situation. Perhaps you'll like to tell us your tank's bio-load, filtration system, pH level?![]()

Hi everone. I am new here and thought I'd open with a few questions. I have been keeping crs and cherry reds for a few months now and noticed that some of the crs are starting to dye off. Not sure why this is. They seem fine one day and the next, they are dead. Some of the crs are carrying eggs too.
Also is it safe to keep them with Stiphodon? I heard that they only eat algae but not sure if I should put them together. The take is 75g and heavily planted.
Thanks for the info.![]()

Don't think is safe with the fish unless otto. Anyway do you add fert to your heavily planted tank and what type of plant mainly? What is the soil use? Any CO2 intro into the tank? Do you have any chiller or just using fan?

Hi hi,
Since you keeping cherries as well i'm assuming you're keeping them without a chiller? From what i have gathered and from what little experience from keeping them even the lower grade one would appreciate lower temperature around 24 - 25. As the grades go up the tempt goes down. Best is around 22-23 then they display best color.
Anyway that's just me jumping the gun. Whats your tank setup like. That would help a lot
