dragon fly nymph!
faster check if there are anymore in your tank!
they EAT shrimps and small fishes!!!
Was transferring my drift wood(with moss) around and suddenly saw a long sharp thing dropping out of it.
Took a closer look and realise it is not one of my purchase.
This thing is long...around 2.5 inches. 3 ends pointed tail, body looks like shrimps or praying mantis or half lizard with ULTRAMAN yellow color eyes. A super slim version shrimp which swims around like a snake.
Anyone have any idea what this alien is?

break it into tiny pieces maybe the shrimps or otos will eat them up. REVENGE.
It has the same color as moss, impossible to check my moss is matured moss. Anyway it is in a separate tank from my shrimps. Thanks for the ID anyway. It looks quite cool though, anywhere I can get a dozen? And is it easy to breed?
i had a rather huge one in my fish and shrimp tank.. difficult to catch so i used a chopstick and stabbed it to death!!! it looked like an alien... gross!
goodluck with the stabbing!
Why kill it? Quite nice what, can keep it as pet. Very exotic kind infact, don't see any shop selling it? I will gladly dedicate a super nano tank for it.

i just killed one few days back

Haha ya keep it separately and go catch tadpoles to feed it. Very interesting to watch. Always wanted one as a kid but never could find one. And i never have in all my tanks. haha don't know to count myself as being lucky or not.

Wow.. Most CRS hobbist will freak out upon knowing they've got one of those in their CRS tanks. This fellow freaked the hell out of me when i saw one on my drift wood.. I was like glued to the tank everyday looking at signs of where they were hiding. My CRS depleted in such a scary way that in the end i had to throw away all my drift wood and tear down my entire tank.. I found like 6-7 of it!Over 2 weeks.. I lost nearly 30 ss - sss grade CRS.. So heart pain~ A few were berried.. Its like now you see it now you don't..

They are idiots.. They do not eat the CRS whole.. They eat half then leave it aside and goes on to attack another.. I hate them so much!~~~ *grinds tooth*
Ya, dragon fly nymph is carnivorous!!
The eat almost anything smaller than them
I've kept them before, I feed them tadpoles...![]()
