Maybe your water temperature is not cool enough?I normally keep the temperature about 23-24 degree celsius and the colour of the crs still remains quite vibrant.![]()

something is wrong with your water better check it.
there's usually a reason.. water parameters, stress or genes.

Its pretty common though.. I do have those too.. But as long as only a handful of them fade and the rest remain, it should be the genes.. However if most of them fade, they could be something wrong with ur parameters. Maybe u can try some mineral powder or shrimp tonic to see how it goes?
I also think it's an issue with water temp or parameters.
What are your tank parameters at?
ph ard 6-6.4
GH is 6.
Ammonia 0.
However, i am using gex plant soil. Will it cause any issues?
Well. its not really all that is dropping colour. But most are dropping colour.
What's your tank's temperature?
What other fishes/shrimps you have in your tank?
Losing of colour means its stressed.
Troubleshoot the problem and solve it ASAP.

Fading white colour of the crs may be due to old age since your water paranmeters look alright to me.
GEX soil plant or shrimp variety is fine, but some people have experienced that it loses its pH lowering properties after a few months.
Your parameters look fine, what are your minimum and maximum temperatures and nitrate levels like?
Raise your ph abit. what is your temp.
Hmmm.. Mine faded and never did came back.. >.<![]()
