Kratois is the most beautiful pugnax/taeniata complex ever. The blue is close to deep sky blue!!

agreed with Jit... they are very beutiful and easy going fish..
at first, i thought they are classified in pugnax complex... but, i read somewhere online.. they classified together with dimidiata... this is what i m so confuse...

I didn't know we could keep different species together. The few that I have now keep fighting so much, it breaks my heart.

Krataios is under dimidiata complex.![]()

bro johannes, any idea how to differentiate female krataois and dimidiata female

I have only kept Betta dimidiata for a week actually so did not have the time to observe them fully. It seems like Dimis have slimmer bodies, longer unpaired fins and more greyish/brown green in colour. The more distinct difference would be the pointed/spade caudal of the Dimis as compared to krataois.
