try tropica, but it's on the high end of the cost.

Seachem Flourish, Tropica Mastergrow, Tetra Florapride, Sera Florena, JBL Ferropol are a few you can try... they provide Fe and trace elements.
Macros are not covered though.

Hi,
First of all, I hope Jason wouldn't mind me "hijacked" his thread. I've started my planted tank since march this year. Plants growing very well and been trimming it twice a month.
Question for bclee and other forumers;
I'm using JBL Ferropol, since bclee said that there isn't macro neutrient, what should I add to the current liquid fert.
Thanks Jason and all,
-FND->

Macronutrients includes N, P, K, Ca, Mg, S.
N, P, K are the ones that usually matters. N and P comes from fish food and wastes. Sometimes this is enough. But many times if hobbyist is using high lighting level, this is not enough. K is even more likely to be lacking. Only limited amount comes from fish food. There is also a little in the tap.
Good thing is JBL Ferropol do provide some K. But you will be pleasantly surprise to the effect of dosing K.
Things we dose:
K2SO4 for K
KNO3 for K & NO3(N)
KH2PO4 for K & PO4(P)
KCl for K
Fleet enema for PO4
Seachem Flourish Potassium for K
Seachem Flourish Nitrogen for N
Seachem Flourish Phosphorus for P
Personally I use:
Seachem Equilibrium for K, Ca, Mg, Mn, Fe
Seachem Flourish for Fe and traces
KNO3 for NO3
KH2PO4 for PO4

Hi bclee,
In you don't mind can you share with us your fert regime? can you gave us your tank parameter as well. I've seen beautiful pictures of AQ forumers tank, however no one shares the parameters to guide newbie like me.
Thanks in advance.

I dosed weekly the following along with 30% water change:
Seachem Equilibrium - 2 tsp to 50L
Seachem Flourish - 2ml to 50L
KNO3 for NO3 - 1/2tsp to 50L
KH2PO4 for PO4 - tiny pinch to 50L
I do not measure my tank parameters anymore. Too lazy. But you can refer to the following sites for information.
