battery operated lights are usually torch lights or emergency lights.
i doubt there are aa battery operated filters. filter motor consumer a fair bit of power and the aa batteries may be exhausted in < 3hours.

I saw a led portable light ... can't remember how many led bulbs there were but it state that 3.5w led usage = 55watts PL brightness.... runs on 6 AA batteries. No wires. I saw it at Home-Fix bukit panjang mall. I think it's powerpac...

I saw a battery operated air pump using those bigger batteries (forget how many A) at an lfs somewhere at paradiz I think, or along that stretch inside one of the old buildings. Quite surprised to find it there, decent variety and well kept but building quite old, few shoppers, mostly those lan shops and a mac, and quite a few massage parlour lol.

you can find battery operated air pump as these are used by fishing hobbist to keep their live baits alive. And air pump does not consume that much power.

filters and water pumps consume significantly more power.
