Ermmm..Vinz...lower uptake might be fine with some less hungry plants but how about those that are extremely hungry? Take for example a person who has just eaten some snacks before his lunch...he wouldn't mind so much if you reduce the amount of food he usually eats but compared it with a person who has not eaten for a day...??

    my lighting 6X36W 6500K

Dr Mallick's LushGro-Micro indicated 1 drop per 100 ltrs, so I only used 2 drops.

pH and kH I'll measure tonite.

For your tank size, try to increase to about 20ppm for K. Micro you need to increase to 3ml per dose and CO2 should be about 3bps. Use KH/PH relationship to achieve 20-30ppm. I think you should ensure your N,P,K,C & traces from running low first before working on Ca/Mg.

What I understand from your ealier post, is that you're saying that the lack of PO4 is limiting the plants ability to take up other nutrients even if they are available.

What I am saying is that the uptake is not limited. It's the requirements that are reduced. I.e., the plants need less of the other nutrients. As long as there is enough nutrients to meet this reduced requirement, it will absorb it and the deficiency should not show up.
Vincent - AQ is for everyone, but not for 'u' and 'mi'.
Why use punctuation? See what a difference it makes:
A woman, without her man, is nothing.
A woman: without her, man is nothing.

    Vincent,

I don't think that limiting PO4 will prevent plants from absorbing other nutrients. To certain extent, what you said is true. But I would take lighting as another important factor to consider. If the light level is low, plants does not need to photosynthesize at a higher rate, then what you said will be true. But when lighting is on the high side, all nutrients becomes important as it suck at a faster rate in order to grow. Without the required nutrients, definitely deficiency will show up in different forms, though it will still grow but at a stunted rate. That's my understanding based on observation.
