Well said sir...
As a noob in wild bettas, I would also like express my appreciation to the experts for sharing their knowledge and joy of bettas in this forum. Thank you!

Close, very close. I'm not yet 50, still have a few years to go. But you know, fish are very alluring creatures. I've had fish all my life. When I was a kid, I remember jumping in drains to catch guppies and bring them home. I even got my grandpa to buy me my first pair of dwarf gouramis, we didn't have a tank so I kept it in a glass jar that broke one day and slashed my leg, landing me in the hospital.
But I digress. I think you are right about my madness. I've decided that I'm stopping...for a while. Adding new species, that is. I may continue to add to my family but I think it will be from the same species orphanage. I'm going to take my time to enjoy them, learn more about them and keep them alive. That's my ultimate goal...if they breed...that will be a bonus.
Thanks for the heads up, Bro. I appreciate the camaraderie in this forum and the unity amongst the wild betta lovers here. It's very heartwarming. Cheers!
