The reddest should be the PFR (Painted Fire Red), which cost around $2 to $3 a piece from LFS if I am not wrong.

The last batch of Painted Fire Red i saw was at Midori. They did not bring in a 2nd batch and are now back to selling Taiwan Fire Reds
The rest of the LFS sells Taiwan Fire Red, although they're very very very close to the Painted in terms of redness and solidity

Went there about 3pm and got a bag of 20 FRs...no more shrimplets but quite a few are berried...

I got a bag of 20 FR at 2.4 red note at Colorful.

Must point out this. This batch of FR is not very Red and more inclined toward Sakura. The wonderful thing is that 12 of the 20 are berried....hope to get a bonus harvest soon.

I saw another bag with almost the same as I had bought but you probably have to check it out there whether it is still there.

I saw that they are keeping a separate tank (inside almost toward the end, last 2 or 3rd from the end) for FR. I believe that the owner may catch for you if you ask him so...though not sure whether they will be berried....
