does having 2X36W PL light an overkill for a 2 ft planted tank?
currently using 1X36W PL and 1X15W FL for the tank. thinking of using both PL for total wattage of 72W.
yes .. overkill. but im not saying u cannot do it. make sure u increse your CO2 at the same time. my 2 ft tank ended up with lots of BBA. but thats because i didnt control my CO2 and nutrients well.----------------

im using 1 x 55W PL and 2 x 15W FL for my 2ft. Have to on more co2 and more fertilisation to balance everything.----------------

i gues i just have to stick to my current 1 PL and 1 FL
IMO, no... 2x36pl is quite normal for a 2ft tank
if thats the case , should pay a visit to NA for the DIY stuff.
Besides NA, is there any other place to get the DIY stuff eg e-ballast, clips, PL tubes
Sim lim tower. try the 3rd level.
