rotting barbel

Help! the barbel of my arowana is rotting. anyone knows how to cure it?

First of all you must ensure that your water parameters is good ..add 0.2% salt.....you can also Melafix to rid the bacteria...hope it recovers....cheers.

will the barbel recover back to normal? i heard from people saying that once it's damaged, it wont recover anymore..

It depends on the age of your arro, If its young , ie : less then 2 years old , it will grow back. But you have to have patience.

Woo.. luckily mine is 1year plus. Means it will grow back. but how long does it take?

In a few months it will be as good as new.......Please keep ur water clean....
