    Can a faulty Ph pen be Repaired?or die die must replace?

    Depends on the fault... need more details for meaningful help.

    Note that all pH pens need to be calibrated every 1-3 months to maintain the precision.
    Some models like Dymax allow you to change the pH probe only so you do not need to replace the whole pen.

    Thanks.just bought a Dymax one,pretty high tech design and just like you said replaceble probe

    Hi Scorpion,

    just want to check is the pH pen effective to determine pH or rather accurate ? Or rather anyone knows what is the best method to determine tank ph ?

    pH pens are the most convenient way to get readings.

    But unless you're intending to spend more than $100 - $200, a good quality $20 - $30 test kit will give you more accurate results.
