welcome back jie sheng![]()
Due to sheer boredom, restarting my planted tank after many year's hiatus. Went down to nearby Nature Aquarium as well as Colorful Aquarium.
tank specs
60x40x40 (custom)
Hang On Filter (Will change to an eheim if things do not turn well)
3 x 24 T5 (no parabolic reflector)
Fertilizers
Lush gro Micros 10 drops 2 days
1/4 teaspoon of KNO3 every 3 days
Flora and Fauna
Undecided on livestock. Plants are mainly rotala green and ludwigia sp. will see whether the plants will flourish in the current setup before deciding on the foreground as well.
Questions:
Does anyone know where I can get the P, for my plants NPK?
Which Eheim Classic will be appropriate for my tank size?
Sorry for yellowish tinge

thanks for the comments.
I think I will let the plants grow a bit (30 days more) before I tear apart everything and bring the two piece of wood closer together and make the rock work slightly tighter. only worries are that the the livestock die and the plants do not make it too.
thanks again.
Welcome back, it's been years!
re-did the thing because I felt that the rock-scape earlier was not prominent enough when the stem plants grow out.
thanks colin for the rotala green.
hopefully, the crypts grow to a substantial size, like what we see in the magazines, covering the ugly lower regions of the stemmed plants.
nice setup.
No problem. Keep going !!thanks colin for the rotala green.

here's one without the rocks.
put in cherry barbs an harlequin rasboras. im getting a bit of filamentous algae.
will update
Use Water change and duckweeds, I stop those hair algae fast. I like it with the rocks.
Hi bro,
may i know what is the sand that you are using? and where did you get it and the price range.. thanks bro. Nice setup..i like how the bog wood all shoots upwards. Will look good once the moss grows out on them =)
i'm using lapis gravel... no nutrients inside... its quite cheap... can get from most LFS...
