No more Eheim Pro II 2028?

Was told by a dealer that they don't bring in Eheim Pro II 2028 anymore.
Can anyone confirm this?
What is the alternative to this model.

Which dealer is that? QianHu is the distributor for Eheim if I'm not wrong.

Cos I asked him to quote but he said 'no more coming in'.

2028 has been phased out to make way for a new line.

There's no news from Eheim about phasing out the 2028. All their canister filter are work horse. There's a canister for every occasion, depending on the requirement of the hobbyist.

I've been to C328 during the weekend and the lady boss told me they still have eheim 2028 in stock. comes with media by the way.

Yes, I was at QianHu today and on their price list it was written over model Pro II 2028 "no more in production".
Yes you can still find then on sale but tot that it was good to know that you will be buying an item that has been discontinued - so can decide if you want to still buy it or choose other models. I decided to buy a used unit for myself in the end.

oops, i just have a plan to buy 2028 one, have to give up.

Items discontinuing is one thing, spend so much money buy the 2028 after 5yrs of it being discontinued got no spare part is going to be a frustrating experience.

From the design of the replacement to the 202x series, it looks like some parts from the new models may not be able to be used for the 202x series.
