Simple and effective! Are the lines scratches on the glass or something else inside the tank?

Nanas are easy to care for, needing minimal light, don't have to bury in substrate, just tie to driftwood.

Wild Angelfish as in altums? If you are planning to get altums i suggest a bigger tank. I suggest a 3 feet at least.

Hot water and plants don't mix.

Unfortunately no. It is like blanching vegetable for eating, no chance. If you want to remove worms it is better to use a diluted chlorox solution, then dechlorinate in anti chlorine solution.

if you are looking for hardscape with plants, try C328 or nan hai, they have the best selection.

Note to the scape, put a gradient on the sand.
