Anyone Try Feeding shrimps with Cooked Rice

Hi....
Anyone try feeding shrimps with Japanese Rice?

After my dinner, left over a clean piece rice on dinning table.
Sunddenly I was asking myself, shrimps eat rice?

If yes, will it kill them?
Then I wash it with clean water, drop into my home shrimps tank.
5 mins later, see below picture is what happened..

Hope tomorrow I don't see dead shrimpsss

I try it before feed CRS with rice. It was an accident drop into my tank.

Some update, after feeding Japanese cooked rice.

1. No dead shrimps found
2. Color looks more red
3. It take them very long hours to finished
