    Hi guys,

Good to be in this forum with lots of apisto lovers.
I just need some advice on wild caught inca that I got from a friend. I have this pair for about 12 days now, but i noticed that they've been eating very less since day 1 esp the Male. Most of the times, they are inside the cave. I have tried giving them NLS, blood worm and even live BS... but they refuse to eat and look scared with swimming BS! Seldom I see them picking things from substrate, but at the end of the day, I still see most of the NLS there, so they eat very little (if they do eat)

Btw, they are in the well-cycled 2 ft tank with some ketapang leaf litter, driftwood, caves and plants accompanied by 2 Otto and 1 yamato.

I have a pair of Caca that already Bred on another 2 ft tank, a pair of Agazizi and Krib as well. And they are all crazy with live BS, so i wonder what's on Wild-caught inca that they refuse to eat?

    Any advise would be appreciated.

    Thanks

    Jash

have you deworm them? you can try to deworm them or add some vitamins that will improve their appetite.

Hi Jash, perhaps you are trying too hard to feed them? To be on the safe side, get some Octozin and treat them for 3 days (3 doses) and see if their appetite improves. Hope this helps.

Thanks bros.. It didn't occur to me that it could be internal parasites. Let me try treating them for 3 days and see how it goes. I heard Jungle Labs Internal Parasite Guard is good too. Let me try that.

    Thanks!

You should try to get more information from your friend regarding his water parameters too.

What is the water PH ????

Do they have sunken bellies ?

Wild fishes sometimes do have internal parasites or worms which will affect them especially during stress - new enviroment or water
