Yesterday morning I saw a heavily pregnant cherry, it seemed to be having difficulty moving and was leaning to one side, which I presume was due to its really big belly.

Saw it again in the afternoon and it was lying on its side dead! I don't know if there were any released shrimplets though. Forgot to test water parameters and did a 10% wc but other shrimps looked normal.

What could be the cause of death?

Hmmm.. For me normally when shrimps lean to one side or don't look like its standing as it would normally, I can say goodbye to the shrimp.. But then maybe u can share the parameters of your tank? Does your tank have planaria?

Can't test the water now, in camp

But I know the water is at 28deg though it dips to about 27 at night. Ph is 7.5. Planaria? Didn't notice any worms before
