If you've learnt, teach, if you have, give.
Don't walk behind me as I might not lead, don't walk in front of me as I might not follow. Walk beside me, as my friend.
Mohamad Rohaizal is my name. If it's too hard, use BFG. I don't mind.

There are some...but they are from brands like Elos.
Hehehehe...cheaper to have a sump custom built from glass or acrylic. Generally the bigger the sump, the more stable your system will be, aim for one as big as your space available even if it's potentially larger than your main tank.

1)Then how does the overflow work???
2)Is it possible to use 2 powerhead to rotate the water?

I also do not understand how a sump tank works? Will it overflow when the power is cut from the power head?

I get the idea of how a sump tank works now the main problem is how do i get a overflow to work or diy i cant seem to understand how it works as water will drain down to the sump though water overflow

I have 2 mandarin 2 fire shirmp 1 cleaner shirmp 4 harlequin shirmp 2 maroon clown 2 fire dart gobie in my tank and my tank is 7g is it a must that i get a protein skimmer?? as i know i have alot of fish for such a small tank =.=
the plumbing etc is a bit tricky IMO. And esp hard for nano/pico tank.
I am in the process of setting up a "remote" sump at my bedroom balcony, for my nano and pico tanks. No physical connections. Unclean water from the tanks will be transferred manually thru WC to the sump for processing and clean water from the sump will be transferred to the tanks.![]()
