I've recently bought some Pixie Shrimp in Japan and brought it back to Singapore. They currently feed on marimo and live within a bottle, rather maintenance free.
Looking to expand the number I have and wondering if anyone in Singapore carries these Pixie Shrimps?

poor shrimps, and never heard shrimps eat marimo before.
The link should work, just tried it.
Got them for about S$15 for a small bottle with 2 marimo (which is what the shrimps will feed on) and 3 pixie shrimps.
I believe reproduction should not be an issue, should be typical of rearing all other shrimps.
They actually live pretty well as it is. Never heard before either, perhaps unique to japan? Hope to find them locally.
I'm sure they eat other stuff like wafers and shrimp food too! I think Boxedfish protesting on poor treatment! She doesn't sound too happy...Give something else to eat lah haha...

Nope definitely not. Just on the marimo. Read the instructions to the letter on this. =p
Don't mind to feed other stuff but afraid will kill them. Can't find much info on these online either. Hoping regulars here can advise. =)
To my knowledge, no. That's why hoping someone here can point me in the direction if Singapore carries them.

today i went to vivo city forget which floor , near challenger , got one shop got sell a small glass bottle or cube inside with a few marimo , didnt take a good look inside weather got shrimps anot , some also got moss , quite cute if u have a table , quite small also . will go and take a look if got time , i think something like what the link shows , only without or with livestock inside not sure
Interesting product. Didn't see such a small marima moss before - size of small marble? The white shrimps look like CPO too.
Cool will check it out. I think people having been bringing in marimo for quite awhile now. Hope they come with these shrimps now. =)
Yup about the size of a small marble. They grow like all other marimo. The shrimps enhance the bottle and is self sustaining, much like those eco jars with plants.

they are actually algae, not moss.
