hi lcf,
first of all welcome to marine fish keeping.
Though it may seem that some of the reefers here are putting you down, please dont see it in that manner, these people are passionate fish lovers and they hate the thought of anything less for a fish.
I do commend you on your desire to learn, and ask and keep asking, that is the most important key to success in keeping any pets.
I do agree with the reefers here that it is good to read up more before you start keeping marine fishes or livestock.
Don't believe anyone who tells you that they have 100% success in their method of keeping marine fishes even when they swear by it. We all learn here through mistakes.
But what are the consequences of these mistakes?
I think its more than just the money being drain as suggested by BFG, but the lives lost due to our mistakes.
So just some suggestions,
1) Read up on the fishes that you have
2) make a checklist of the requirements these fishes have
3) tick those requirements you could provide for them currently
4) circle those requirements you do not have currently but is able to provide to these fishes
5) cross out those requirements you do not have currently and you do not have the means to meet up with either due to space constraints etc.
With this checklist, you can go about your next steps
in the event you realise that the fishes that you have currently is out of your means to keep them, it might be good to put them up for adoption or sell them, i believe AQUAMARIN do take in fishes for adoption.
take the hobby slowly friend
you will see the fruits of your hard labour
lcf425, what's in the 3ft tank?
If you've learnt, teach, if you have, give.
Don't walk behind me as I might not lead, don't walk in front of me as I might not follow. Walk beside me, as my friend.
Mohamad Rohaizal is my name. If it's too hard, use BFG. I don't mind.

1xyellow tang
1x purple dart
2x clownfish
2xdamsels
thats about it
Tough situation. If you transfer fish to the 3ft, the fish in the 3ft would get the white spot. If you transfer the blue tang into the 3ft, both will be attacked by the yellow tank and all the fish in the 3ft will get white spot. But most of the fish from the small tank should be transferred to the 3ft but doing that will cause the fish originally in the 3ft to be exposed to the white spot. I think you have to leave the fish in the small tank as is and wait for them to get well. There will be casualty.
Do you have Brand Essence of chicken?

Nope but the bottle serve as a useful container to hold mysis shrimp for the mandarin. By the way, the original poster has not provide the truth about his situation.

Different reply between the 2 forums. There's even a clam, which was not highlighted here in this thread, which I've found out from another forum. Clearly a case of want to have but don't know how to. When asked for info, certain livestock was omitted with the reply. There were threads that shown OP was trying to sell away his livestock that has white spot but did not highlight this in the other forum. He replied it meant no harm but he failed to understand that people have spent a lot of money in keeping a marine tank and his action to sell off his contaminated livestock to others is not the right thing to do. Risking other people tank to white spot infection and causing grief to others is not my cup of tea. All in all, I feel this person should not have a marine tank. Good luck to him in his quest.

ah I actually read that other thread also, but didn't take note of user names.
These are the 2 most common problem with new marine aquarists, no patience and not doing research before buying livestock.
