My MaMa BDS have been berried for more then 2 weeks.... Her behaviour is as usual crawling and swimming around. Feeding and consuming is also looking fine as usual. Other shrimp mate is also doing well...no sign of death or unhealthy shrimp so I think my water condition should be doing fine. Any brothers out there experience this??? Is the egg fertilize??? As for what I read, it takes around 7 days for the shrimplets to hatch...have the eggs turn bad???

    Please help....

If the eggs are not fertilized the female will kick them away.. But in rare cases like mine, fungus has setted on the eggs and the female is unable to get rid of them.. The female might die because of this..

This is a clear sign that the shrimp has no hope of living. They will walk around aimilessly but actively and bypass food in front of them. The front limbs usually not moving and they hardly live beyond a day or two.

Saw more baby BDS....hopefully the shrimplet survive... But seems like my other 2 CRS drop some eggs.

Any brothers here can help??? Currenty the 3 MaMa shrimp is kept in a plastic tortise container with quite alot of Moss and kept it floating in the main tank...everyday I will scoop out some water from the plastic tank and scoop some water from the main tank into the plastic tAnk. Should I release the baby shrimp into the main tank or just leave them in the plastic tank???

    muahhahahah
    finally become a father =D

thing its best to let them loose in the tank.. cause your creating necessary stress for them and in which might kick the eggs..
