Some photos of a heckel discus which a brother on this forum gave to me about a month ago. It was slightly sick at that time but has since recovered.

It does look quite sick...I'm glad it's fine now Any recent pictures?

I notice you're keeping it in a bare tank with other discus?

The photo was taken only a few days ago. Previously it had HITH and fin rot. At least now it is opening up its fins and has a good appetite. I know heckels like sand but am afraid i can't provide that as i do not have the time to change water frequently.

how abt adding a filter? it'll help but then it really depends on yr setup.

a canister filter perhaps? i've good experience with eheim.
