Hello all, I'm new to this forum, I've been reading many of the threads and it's pretty cool to find such a community of people. Everyone seems mellow and I've learned a lot in the past few days. Unfortunately my first post is kind of a downer. I just discovered an Ich infestation, I've had two prior encounters with ich with mixed results. I was just turned on to Ich attack By Kordon from a local tropical fish store, the reason i chose it was because it's 100% organic, and as I have recently just started my first plant tank I would prefer not to use chemicals. I was wondering if anyone here has used this product and if so with what results.

I haven't really tried Kordon products before aside from their breather bags, but I have heard generally positive feedback about their products.

Have you isolated your infected fish to a separate quarantine tank? What type of fish are they?

Additionally you might want to have some activated carbon handy for when you end treatment, so you can mop up any residual medication from your water after you do your major water change when all your fish are well again.

The fish in question (Two Rainbow fish and a Rainbow shark) have been removed from my main tank. I have been using the ich attack for three days now with good results on the rainbow fish, but the shark still seems to be rubbing a lot. He does not however have any white spots. His color seems to be a little faded but he still looks fairly healthy.
