what type of snails? any other inhabitants in your tank? if yes, what kind?
Hi Guys,
I have been trying to put snail in my tank but they seem to die off in a few days time.
I notice some strange behaviour when I put Florish Excel and Plant Suppliment that some of the snail might climb out of the water for a while before reentering the water again.
Could the snail be sensitive to the fertilizer that I put in and poisoned??
Please advice.

i think you put too much LOL.. try to read the quantity to apply... to me snail should not die easily de lea... im trying to get rid of them but still alot LOL!Originally Posted by ChanWing

Dont think I put too much of the suppliment but they did show some slight reaction to it.
try to do water change and not adding any more suppliment or fertalizers.. see if it helps!
Try out on another 1 ft cube tank with many small snail. The initial behavior is the same. Some climb out of the tank then reenter again. No water change.
After 2 days the baby snail still alive.
The first tank the did the same but the supplement is added in after water change and 1 out of the 2 big snail that 1 died.
