Whats Wrong with this Crs??

Hi Can any experts tell me whats wrong with my Crs? It used to be grade

S with nice whites when i bought them.Theres few others like this also. i

have a picture of one of them this below.Its still actively eating in my

tank.Is it sick?

1. possible that it just molted
2. water parameter just don't suit this crs.
3. check your pH

Hi eviltrain, my ph 6.4 and my parameters so far in safe zone.Is it possible

that two weeks without a chiller could do this to them? If so will they

regain their whites?A few others are still showing good colour.

yea.. tempt does affect the colour of your shrimps.. try to use a chiller if posible...

Yup juz got a chiller not long ago, been a five days now with stable temperature.But so far no diff. Aaaargh

damage done already! 2 weeks without chiller is like cooking it! good luck... hope the colour comes back... thats the only thing you can do now i guess..

i set my chiller to 24.5c, will kick at 25.5c .Had remove my sakuras and cherries in the same tank thinking it might had been stressing my Crs

What you guys suggest i should do next ? Dont want all of them to fade on me.

haha i did try not to exceed 26c without a fan, but still manage to rise up to 28c at times, you know la the weather damn hot

these few days weather damn hot liao. better to separate them into different tank as they needs different water parameters.

as for your chiller. i think you never calibrate it properly so it kicks in 1 degree C difference

really ar.i did try to calibrate with my liquid thermometer in my tank, whats the normal degree diff when the chiller kicks? is it my flow rate? sorry evil, noob with chillers man

i set my chiller at 23.0 degrees.. it kicks in only when the temp hits 25.4.. but i dont get it why your chiller kicks in every 1 degree difference.. should be your whole tank water has not reach the desired tempreture.. for now it will kick in every 1degree difference.. try waiting till tomorrow and see if it still does that..
