Haha. Definitely maybe? I need to confirm the species to find him/her accompany. Right now, this betta is alone in a tank.

You could ask Bro Dwarflala to play some classical music, put a few drops of wine into his tank (this is just a joke! please do not do this at home!) to induce his to breed and buy from him after his spawn is ready.

    Re: Help ID this betta

as i mentioned in my falx thread, those edithaes are mislabeled, they are most likely Betta midas.

    Re: Help ID this betta

The male yes, blue and black margin, extending to the caudal.
Female's limited to the anal fin only, sometimes extend slightly to the caudal.

other way to sex is the mouth/head shape, female is sharper and male is slightly deeper/rounder.

Hmm.. Bought this fella from C328. Uncle told me it is edithae. But i don't see any black margin along anal fin. Hope this is a male edithae.

    Re: Help ID this betta

I have seen that piece at C328, haha, it was a contaminant from a contaminant . It looks like bubblenester, most probably a young Betta simorum.

    Re: Help ID this betta

your B. simorum looks like a female but it is still too young to confirm.
