my office shrimp tank ... any comments are welcome [:]

this is also linked to another thread asking if ADA Aquasoil will be harmful to shrimps since aquasoil lowers the ph to quite a low level (<6) ... see http://www.aquaticquotient.com/phpbb...ic.php?t=11304 for more discussions

    Hi Joe

pretty nice tank but you may want to loss the Nanas and let the Java moss dominate the driftwood.....do consider Balanese for the back ground, and perhaps a Narrow Leaf Echinodorus Rubin some where in the middle......again loss the Nanas that is in the substrate and consider perhaps Echinodorus Leopard or Crypto Wen.

Spread you Hair grass.....is that frogbits floating on the top....is my eyes deceiving me or is the roots twisted?

hahahhaha David, I just added the nanas cos I thot the wood looked quite plain and bare ... dunno wat moss on the wood but definitely not java moss ... will remember to post a more close up shot of the moss and hope u guys can help ID it

frogbits are indeed having twisted roots ... they were in this condition when i got them from another forumer ... was wondering why too cos those at home have beautiful roots

    Hi Joe

You could also consider those big Riccia for your background wall which I have seen at System and Control....dont ask me what is the freaking scientific name coz I am going to tell you its some kind of 'Aquatic Plant'....ask Vinz or Simon if you must they love tongue twisting names....whahahhahahaa[]

Pelia...uh... pelia something or rather that looks like giant translucent riccia.

    Ask Budak, he knows.
Vincent - AQ is for everyone, but not for 'u' and 'mi'.
Why use punctuation? See what a difference it makes:
A woman, without her man, is nothing.
A woman: without her, man is nothing.
