hi bros, i have a question to post here. i bought a dymax package of the co2 system and i just it into use on saturday. it comes with a regulator type and not solenoid. however, on sunday, the gauge reading for pressure shows 0 psi, even though bubbles can be seen in the bubble counter. is there any problem with my system? please advise. thanks

Which pressure gauge are you referring to?...the main cylinder pressure or the regulator chamber pressure?....

You need to let us know which one...and if its the regulator chamber pressure, it is normal if your main cylinder pressure is beyond 1000psi....some regulator without a camber adjustor will shut down.

hi david, sorry as i don't really know how to describe as i'm still new to this. the gauge i'm refering to is the one that comes with the manual regulator. there is a small reading on the regulator that tells the psi and it has been constantly zero since the 2nd day i use it. i don't know whether thats the main cylinder pressure or regulator chamber pressure. is there anyway to tell? thanks for helping.

think it is the regulator chamber pressure.
if not wrong, the set has only 1 gauge.
you can try to clamp the tube to the bubble counter and open the main valve a little more. check if the gauge reading goes up. however, do not open too much or your co2 tube to bubble counter might 'balloon'.

hi... thanks for all the help. i have tried just now and it seems that the reading is still zero. does that mean my regulator is damaged? will try to get a digital camera to take some pics.

It could be the gauge faulty also (although unlikely)
But don't border to change the Gauge (expensive), can also use without the gauge.

Just make sure there is no leakage, check with soapy water.

using a tank without a gauge is risky. you'll never know when the tank is going to be empty. unless you put the co2 tank on a weighing machine. there are cases where co2 was dumped when the co2 tank pressure drops below what is required for proper regulation.

is all this cylinder pressure or the regulator chamber pressure that important. if those that dun come with the guage readng, can they just base on the bubble counter to check wheter os ot empty

i think most probably the regulator is faulty. the number of bubbles per second will drop even if i did not adjust the flow. so its either the regulator is faulty or my co2 cylinder is almost empty.

i also have the same set as yours. the tank is filled partially as during shipping the tank might explode of the pressure is too high. that's what the distributor told me anyway. i called when i realised my cylinder finished in a week. top it up.
